Brief Bio: Abbey is a mostly Australian Shepherd born in September of 2006. Ever since she was a few weeks old, Abbey has showed an obsessive interest in retrieving. Flyball is a natural outlet for her energies and ball drive. Abbey and Shari knew they were in the right place from the very first class they attended at the 4Dog Night Flyball Club in January of 2009. Abbey worked hard to lose some extra pounds—of course, living on a horse farm, she gets lots of fitness training chasing balls, Frisbees and her people up and down some impressive hills! Abbey loves everyone and frequently greets both friends and strangers, alike, by dropping to the ground and rolling over for a belly rub. Her half-blue eye generates much commentary, especially from those who have not seen a Blue Merle coat colored dog before. Abbey and Shari look forward to many more good times on the racing lanes with their new flyball friends.
