Mattie was rescued when she was 9 months old from an abusive home. KC took one look and knew she needed to take Mattie under her wing. KC only needed to get approval from her neighbor's little Maltese named Nikki, who was KC's first adventure into dog sports taking agility classes with Nikki. Guess what--Nikki gave full approval instantly and the rest is history. With lots of hard work in agility and flyball, Mattie has excelled with novice and open titles in agility and now being with 4DN's team is starting to move forward quickly in flyball enjoying her new teammates. Mattie is truly becoming a pro at the game of flyball and is the #6 Bichon on the NAFA ranking and her hope is to move up the ranks with her new running mates. Ms. Mattie has attained her Flyball Master Excellent title and will soon receive her Onyx title(20000 points) She has done this the last year with only one eye, she is her mom's hero.
